Nye Medie-frafall

Et intervju av Jens og et lite telefonintervju av meg i Studvest, i forbindelse med at over halvparten av klassen vår er sluttet etter jul, og flere følger etter med å hoppe av til sommeren på grunn av misfornøyelse med studiet:

ITALY

First day of the trip we went to Venice. It was the second last day before the annual carneval ended, so there was pretty crowded. So pretty though. Narrow streets and beautiful canals. And of course everybody bought masks to go with the theme. On our way home me, Lauren and Katie also got to experience the real italien gentleman. This one from Napoli, and over the age of 30. Apperantly he had a huge villa, and was going to make us all napoli-pizza (supposed to be the best according to this fellow) if we only went out with him dancing. He also had money. At least he claimed so. As tempted as we were by this chubby little man, we passed.

Crowded, yep.

Solveig, being festiv

Solveig and our very cool new german friend: LAURA (as they say it in german)

The rest of the week we spent in Milan. A city I came to like very much. The city is centered around the "Duomo". So beautiful, and so big! And you can also find Europe's biggest TV-screen next to it. Kinda cool. Old meets new. Shopping was good, not particularly cheap though. If you want the real stuff, Monte Napoleone is the street for you. In our case, window-shopping was as far as we got.

A lovely parc for couples

During my time in Milan, I was so lucky to be mistaken for beeing a Bocconi-student equal to the other students living at Arcoboleno, and I got to join in on a lot of fun ESEG-parties, not to forget the Venice-schooltrip which was also under the direction of ESEG. (ESEG is an international students club in italy). Milan turned out to be such a great exchange-city.

Arcoboleno, one of Bocconi's doorms. An old hotel which name means rainbow. Only the best people live there :)

Making dinner at Arco's kitchen, yum

Oh, and I met another italien gentleman. This one wantet to take me home to his family in Florence. Yet another tempting offer, but yet another pass.
